He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree in International & Comparative Law and International Organisations from the University of Turin, Italy, and a Master of Laws degree in Intellectual Property & Competition Law from the University of London, Queen Mary & Westfield College.
Giulio is a senior Intellectual Property and branding expert with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).
He served as a Specialist Legal Adviser in Intellectual Property and Innovation at the World Bank Group from 2014 to 2023.
Giulio has a proven track record in delivering technical assistance and policy advice across a wide range of Intellectual Property related matters.
Under the World Bank Group, he provided technical assistance in Intellectual Property for several governments in East Asia.
As an international consultant for the ASEAN Secretariat, Giulio drafted the "Handbook on IP Commercialisation".
Giulio has also provided extensive training on Intellectual Property rights and protection for Stanbic Bank Kenya Ltd, where he trained the Board of Directors, executive team and senior management.
He was also a co-author of the bespoke handbook for Stanbic Bank Kenya Ltd on the protection and commercialisation of Intellectual Property.
